Floppy's Neighborhood

Mark took me on a really busy walk today. [Union Street Festival] There were soo many people there; and I kept finding neat stuff on the ground! I think Mark was just as overwhelmed as I was since we only stayed there for a little bit..

We walked on to this really cool grassy hill [Fort Mason] next to the water; and I found myself chasing these birds that I had never seen before...

Came home 5 hours later and passed out; I was pooped!

Got to play with this dog Tucker today a the park.. I won! I think he was really tired though - he had just came back from swimming at the beach. (What's swimming? I didn't know what he was talking about when he said he was swimming...)

Not even sure if Mark noticed... He was too busy playing with this wierd flying thing [Bugsy] while Mariell and I were playing with Tucker...

What happened to my food bowl? I haven't seen it recently.. Instead I got this really funny orange ball that keeps dropping kibbles out when I roll it around. [Tricky Treat Ball]

Humph; I guess they're making me work for my food now..

Hopped in a car and went to class today. [Adolescent Manners @ the San Francisco SPCA] I was so excited I had an accident a soon as I got in! A volunteer had to come by with a mop and clean up after me!

I kept getting treats! Mark kept calling my name, clicking this weird thing [Clicker Training], and giving me treats..

There was a puppy there that I had met before, so we spent the 'free play' time playing some more... I can't wait to go back next week!

I swam today! We went to this beach [Crissy Field] where I got to play off-leash with a bunch of others dogs. The other dogs were wierd - they kept running and chasing this small yellow ball that some guy was throwing.. I was just trying to run and jump the other dogs!

I was running with the pack, and even ran across the water from time to time - but spent most of my time running around the water and meeting the pack on the other side.. I was soo pooped!

This past Saturday we went on a long ride in the car to Fort Funston [Fort Funston Dog Walkers Association]. When we finally stopped and I got out of the car it was like I had landed in heaven!

There were dogs everywhere and the smells! can’t even tell you how much I had to smell. Mark and Mariell kept on trying to give me treats but I didn’t have time for that. We walked all the way down to the beach and I was let free.

I ran down to the water but the waves looked really scary. I met up with a pack of dogs and found a playful friend. We ran and ran and ran. And then I met another friend and we ran too, and another, and another. I didn’t know dogs came is so many different shapes and sizes. I can’t wait until I get to go back again.
